Brian Dusho,

Brian has established and is maintaining strategic relationships with industry's leading marketing and media organizations


Brian has a ten-year track record of success in technology businesses in the audiovisual, control center/room and broadcast integration market. Prior to joining BroadSign he spent two years planning and supervising deployments of "captive audience networks" in the USA.

In 2003, Brian founded a company named 1-800-AV-NATION specializing in large-scale deployment projects in North America. Today 1-800-AV-NATION has a network of 500 locations and 8000 technicians providing IT infrastructure, audio and video installation services.

Brian has a BA from Kent State University.

Ms. Chandni Jafri spearheads the Media Services team at VJIVE Networks, with her rich industry experience across assignments and media formats. Preceding VJIVE, Ms. Jafri was VP, SAARC, Visage-Getty Images where she was responsible for business planning, market research and strategic alliances with offline & online distributors. Prior to that, Ms. Jafri worked with TV18 Online as National Head - Sales & Alliances. She was a core member of the CNBC-TV18 start-up team. She has also worked with Channel 9 Broadcasting & Madison Communications India. Ms. Jafri has a Masters in Business Administration from NMIMS, Mumbai.


Ritesh Gupta,

Ritesh Gupta has been associated with publishers such as Reed Business, Haymarket Group, Euromoney and Asiamoney, AFP, CNET Networks and Crain Communications as an editorial consultant and correspondent for more than seven years in a career spanning nine years. He has extensively reported on TV broadcasting, the travel trade, online marketing and sports marketing. Some of the publications he has been associated with in the media/entertainment and advertising sectors are Television Asia World Telemedia, AdAge/AdAgeGlobal, Brand Republic and SCREENS.tv. He is based in New Delhi.


Andrew McCall
Managing Director, ROI Team

Andrew McCall was founding director of Inside Broadcast and also a founder of www.aka.tv, as its first commercial director. As managing director of How and Why he played a pioneering role in establishing the business case for the operation and commercialisation of out-of-home tv networks in the UK and USA. His team developed and proved the business plans for networks including Mall TV in the UK and a major hotel network in USA.

With Jo Johnson he founded research agency ROI Team (www.ROITeam.co.uk) in 2006. ROI Team has established itself as a leader in understanding consumer behaviour, working in sectors including retail, property for retail, town and city planning, and media. The company recently completed a project for the UK’s National Health Service to assess the effectiveness of OOH networks for its campaigns.

When not at work he enjoys singing tenor in choirs in Central London and still manages to open the batting for his perennially uncompetitive cricket club.

Andrew McCall holds an MA degree in classics from Oxford University.



Pranesh Misra

Pranesh Misra is global director of marketing accountability for Lowe Worldwide. After post-graduation from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in 1977, Pranesh joined Lintas India as a management trainee. Most of his career, save two excursions outside, has been with Lintas/Lowe. During this career spanning over 30 years, he had held several positions of responsibility with the Lowe Lintas group:

As vice president of marketing at Mashreq Bank, Dubai (1993Ð95), he introduced a host of successful new products in the personal finance area.
Pranesh is a member of the Advisory Board of World Effie Festival 2008 and a jury member of the US Effie Awards. He is a board member of ASCI (Advertising Standards Council of India), a managing committee member of Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) and the vice president of Advertising Club Bombay. He has convened the Effie India Awards for the past two years as the chairperson of the Effie India committee.



Kamal Oberoi
Chairman and Managing Director, M&C Saatchi

Kamal Oberoi is a highly-respected figure in the Indian advertising industry. He has spent more than 20 years with J. Walter Thompson and until recently was heading JWT India as its president.

During his tenure, he improved the overall profitability of the company by over 40 percent with his astute financial management skills. He also developed a strong market strategy for JWT, expanded the client base and enforced rigorous productivity norms.


Oberoi has personally stewarded brands like Pepsi, ITC (BAT), Nestle, Ford, Levi's, GSK, and Frito-Lay during the course of his tenure with JWT. He has successfully headed all JWT offices in India including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Chennai. Under his leadership each operation grew in profitability, client profile, and employee morale.

Oberoi holds an MBA degree from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi, and a BA honors degree in ewconomics from the University of Delhi. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the National Culture Fund (Dept. of Culture, Govt. of India).



Eli Sasson
Chief Executive Officer, Minicom Advanced Systems

Born in 1957, Eli Sasson holds an MBA from the Reccanati Business School in Tel Aviv University. He founded Minicom Advanced Systems in 1988, and continues to be its president and CEO. Eli has been a pioneer in the digital-signage market since its early stage and has led Minicom to becoming a market leader of this industry.


Partho Dasgupta
Chief executive officer, Future Media India

Partho Dasgupta is the chief executive officer of Future Media India. He is responsible for the business of the first venture of its kind in the Indian industry and is shaping and managing the business operations of the company.

Partho’s previous assignment was as the business head of Times Global Broadcastinh, where he Partho was responsible for the joint venture of Times Group with Reuters and the successful launch of the English news channel TIMES NOW.


Partho was previously with Bennett Coleman, managing the brand operations of The Economic Times, the business of Times Multimedia and the ET Intelligence Group, before his assignment with Times Global Broadcasting.

Partho has also worked with leading companies such as CRISIL, Union Carbide, Tetra Pak, and Indal in various strategic domestic and international sales assignments. A mechanical engineer by education and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Partho is a keen observer of consumer and economic trends. Partho brings key insights about media consumption in India.

Partho loves to speed with his car, tries his hand in all kinds of gadgets and prefers to spend time with his wife and daughter on weekends.




Siddharth Sethi
Chief Executive Officer, InfoSignz

Siddharth has experience in building businesses from scratch. He started his career as a software developer with focus on user experience. Siddharth has worked for companies like Bank of America, Kaiser Permanente and Zaplet. He has co founded InfoBeans and, along with the other founders, has been instrumental in taking the company from zero to a hundred people with a solid reputation of delivering quality services at the right price

At InfoSignz, Siddharth’s vision is the driving force behind the digital signage SaaS platform. Known in the company as an innovator, he likes to stay on top of technology and has a passion to identify business value in upcoming technologies. Siddharth holds an MBA from IIM Indore.


Dr. L.S. Kanodia
founder and chairman, Datamatics

Dr. L S. Kanodia, Chairman of Datamatics, is credited with being the father and architect of the Indian software industry. He is the only software professional to feature in the Dataquest "Hall of Fame" along with Rajiv Gandhi, India's former Prime Minister. Dataquest's citation honoring Dr. L. S. Kanodia says, in part: "Such is the stuff legends are made of, men who've built and shaped the IT industry, men to whom the IT industry will be forever indebted...men such as Dr. L. S. Kanodia."

At MIT, prior to completing his doctorate from the same institute, Dr. Kanodia was a member of the team that developed and designed the first two multi-user operating systems (CTSS & MULTICS), which were precursors to UNIX.His pioneering streak continued and, in 1967, Dr. Kanodia founded and headed Tata Consultancy Services (1967). History was created again when he founded Datamatics in 1975.

Through Dr. Kanodia's visionary zeal, Datamatics is, today, ranked by NASSCOM as the 12th largest BPO company. With several innovations to its credit, Datamatics had the distinction of establishing the first satellite link from India to the USA (AT&T Bell Labs) in 1989 and boasts having initiated the "off-shore software factory" concept.

The company has executed over 1100 projects in 58 countries for some of the world's largest organizations, including five of the top ten Fortune 500 companies. Today, its employee strength is over 1600, across the continents.

Dr. Kanodia is instrumental in making India a global IT superpower. The Government of India elicits his support in shaping the IT and telecom policies of the country. Today, Dr. Kanodia is the driving force behind the Maharashtra IT Task Force.

He is also the chairman (Western Chapter) of the Electronic & Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) that functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India. An executive member of NASSCOM, Dr. Kanodia has also been an executive committee member of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) where industry captains confer the future, and past president of the Management Consultant's Association of India. Dr. Kanodia is also on the board of directors of several large conglomerates.

In recognition of his many contributions, Dr. Kanodia has been personally felicitated by the Prime Minister of India (1999), the State Government of Maharashtra (Sept. 2000), and the U.S. $170 billion Itochu Corporation, among others.

Additionally, Dr. Kanodia authors papers that contribute to the economic development of India, and the Government of Chile has designated him as the Honorary Consul General of Chile in India. As always, he remains a visionary at heart.



Barnaby Page

Barnaby Page is editor of Screen Media Magazine and SCREENS.tv. Previously editor of aka.tv, he has worked as a newspaper, magazine and online journalist for more than 20 years, specialising in the media and technology sectors. A pioneer of online news publishing in the United Kingdom, where he was launch editor of the first major regional news network, Barnaby has also lived and worked in Canada, the United States, Italy and the United Arab Emirates; he is now based near London.


Gaurang Shah
Founder and chief executive officer, Digital Signage Network India

Gaurang Shah is a graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, where he secured dual degrees in finance from the Wharton School and electrical systems & engineering from the School of Engineering. Gaurang has worked at McKinsey and Company's New York, Sao Paulo, Boston and Zurich offices, where he advised clients on operational and management issues in a range of sectors including private equity, insurance, media and telecommunications.

After spending almost ten years in the US, Gaurang came to India for a three-month summer vacation last June. It was then that the idea of DSN was born as a hobby. A technology enthusiast, this concept appealed to him as it uses cutting-edge technology whereby all screens across the country can be controlled from a single computer from anywhere in the world!

After starting off in a few odd locations, things snowballed for DSN and the momentum has only grown. Operational only for eight months, DSN is present in over 500 locations across 15 cities today and rolling out to over 3000 locations in the next three to six months. A pioneer in its field, DSN is poised to become the most valuable company in the outdoor digital advertising space as it steadily grows its network across premium locations in the country.

DSN is a retail advertising company that is in the business of installing, maintaining and running a network of digital signs (plasmas, LCDs and LEDs of all sizes) installed in public places like cafes, restaurants, food courts, stations and other areas. DSN earns advertising revenues by selling airtime space to ad agencies, corporate clients, mall retailers, production houses and other customers that require poster space for promotions to the middle and upper middle class population of India.



Prabhu Venkatesh
Head of Digital Signage Initiative, 3M India Limited

Prabhu Venkatesh heads the Digital Signage Initiative of 3M India Limited, where he is responsble for overall business and product development activities. Prior to this, he was the founder and CEO of Macroworx Media, a pioneer in the Indian digital signage industry, which was acquired last year by 3M. At Macroworx, Prabhu was responsible for the design, development and market penetration of the Macromatrix Suite of Digital Signage Solutions. Prabhu also spent several years working in Chicago for various high-tech computer-aided manufacturing companies, before returning to India as an entrepreneur. Prabhu Venkatesh holds a master's degree in industrial and systems engineering from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, USA.


Chetan Madaya

Chetan Madaya, Group Strategy Officer, Laqshya Media & Chief Executive Officer, Laqhsya Digital Media.

With over 18 years of diverse knowledge and rounded experience, Chetan often brings with him a different perspective, out-of-the-box thinking, loads of passion and energy. He has start-up/entrepreneurial experience and profit center management experience. Whether it is business scaling, structuring, restructuring or new business model development, his career has allowed him to garner experience across domains that includes Out Of Home Media, Financial Advertising, Capital Markets, Sports Marketing and Financial Retailing.

More than a management degree, Chetan attributes his learning to his successes and failures in the real world and on the street. Interestingly, he started his career as an entrepreneur and co-founded Genesis Promotions, Bangalore, a product promotions firm. He helped start up Clea Advertising and Marketing, a leading player in the Financial advertising space, as Regional Head Bangalore, and moved on to First Securities, Bangalore where he helped build a 600 million dollar business, positioning it as the second largest Retail Equity Broking Business in Southern India. He researched and conceived a solution, along with a small team, for a USD 37 million nationwide retail brokerage for First Securities, a VSAT based system that combined an efficient exchange and broking system. Subsequently, researched and conceived a USD 280 million project for Retail Business Enablement at TSIX Info Net Ltd, a third party support service for Retail Players. The solution envisioned creating a global service delivery model capable of offering retail players the following capability/support at the local market level – consulting, local market operations management, one-to-one interest based consumer targeting, marketing program implementation and quick-time information backed decision support . With Relay Worldwide, the sports practice of the USD 22 bn Starcom MediaVest Group, Chetan helped develop a region specific business model for Asia. He researched and developed a unique business model for Rights & Sports India Pvt Ltd, using sports underwriting as a means of creating significant long-term valuation play across select sports.

Chetan has been CEO of Right Angle Media India, a company involved in acquisition of global in-stadia advertising rights in cricket. Post that he joined the Laqshya Group as Chief Strategy Officer, and is currently overseeing corporate development, funding/financial structuring, organization/brand building and incubation of new ventures. He is also the CEO of Laqshya’s new Digital Media venture. Laqshya Digital has recently launched a NexGen Digital Media channel, “Business Q” and will shortly roll out “Movie Q” and “Shoppers Q”.

Some of his personal interests include cricket, shooting, go-karting, tai chi, salsa, cross-country driving, scuba diving, fishing, travelling, natural healing, golf and dreaming up business ideas/product inventions/concepts.




Kevin B. Howard
Co-founder and CEO, ICG

Kevin Howard

As the Co-Founder and CEO of Internet Connectivity Group (I.C.G.), Kevin Howard acts as the primary responsible for the strategic direction of the company. I.C.G. is a wireless hardware developer and service solutions provider based on a 3G and 4G cellular/data infrastructure specialized in the Digital Signage and Kiosk verticals.


Prior to founding I.C.G., Howard worked in finance and technology related fields for over 12 years. He specialized in asset management, venture capital and corporate guidance while acting as a Vice President or above at Wells Fargo’s Private Client Group, UBS Financial and Smith Barney. Prior, he primarily worked in the wireless field where he assisted firms such as Top Global Technologies, Ltd. Howard has also held board positions with numerous privately held corporations.

Howard was an attendee of Colorado State University where he majored in Communications.



P.R. Satheesh
Chief Operating Officer, Tag Media

P.R Satheesh is a sales and marketing professional whose career includes setting up the advertising sales network for Deccan Chronicle in the West and launching various editions of The Asian Age and managing it. He has also spent valuable time with the ZEE Network as its South head and then as key accounts head at Mumbai. His last assignment was as the vice president of ZEE Sports. He is also actively associated with The Advertising Club, Bangalore and is currently officiating as its vice president


Rajesh Jog,
Founder, Waygate Capital
Rajesh graduated with an MS in computer science from SUNY, Stony Brook in 1987 and an MBA from NYU in 1993. Rajesh has extensive technology and finance industry experience at AT&T Bell Labs, Cyber Digital and Bankers Trust in the United States. Rajesh relocated back to Mumbai in 1994 and founded Waygate Capital, India’s pioneering investment and venture banking boutique. In 1999, Rajesh co-founded eVentures India – a $190m venture fund company with investments from Softbank and News Corp.

Lynn de Souza,
Director, Media Services, Lintas Media Group
Lynn de Souza is director of media services at Lintas. She was previously director of integrated communications at Lintas; president at Initiative Media; executive vice president and media director at Trikaya Grey; and a media planner/buyer and media supervisor at Ogilvy & Mather in Mumbai. Educated at Ithaca TAFE, Brisbane, and the University of Mumbai, she is also chairperson and managing trustee at Goa SPCA.
