Synopsis: As a man who has been helping home shopping and retail clients trade online before the big internet boom, MD of WMpS, Mike Anderson hopes to share industry insight into how to deliver significant conversion improvement to fuel business growth.
UK Internet advertising is forecast to exceed any other forms of advertising in the UK in 2009. While Google costs may have increased through increased demand, it still represents one of the most cost effective forms of advertising. However, our online customer experience remains woefully low with online retail conversion at 4-7%, i.e. less than 1 in 15. Our online store is our biggest shop front and yet doesn’t perform like it. My interactive presentation will look at the reasons why based upon results from some of the biggest and respected High Street and Mail Order companies, looking at their pitfalls and some best practice as well.
